The most famous landmark of Agrilis is the "Fairy Tale Castle", where impressive statues of Athena, Poseidon, and a giant Trojan Horse dominate its exterior. LAGOUVARDOS

Lagouvardos Beach is located 3 kilometers north of Marathopoli, the picturesque fishing village opposite the island of Proti. This golden sandy beach stretches for 2 kilometers, framed by rocky formations on both sides and surrounded by pine trees that provide natural shade. Its crystal-clear waters enhance the area's exotic beauty, attracting many visitors throughout the year. From October to April, Lagouvardos becomes a hotspot for surfers, as the area's climate creates ideal conditions for board and wind-surfing. The beach is famous among windsurfing enthusiasts across Greece, offering the highest wave frequency while remaining safe from strong currents. During the summer months, a beach canteen operates, providing umbrellas and sun loungers for visitors. There are also showers and changing cabins available. The beach is easily accessible by car. At the northern end, the Lagouvardos River, from which the beach takes its name, flows into the sea. PROTI ISLAND-MARATHOPOLI

PALACE OF NESTOR
